Sitting in silence, that’s where I’m stopping my fall

Minds right, screws tight, comeback season y’all

Forgive but never forget, there is a lesson in this stall

Revenge will be the sweetest, that’s the final call

Through turmoil and failure, you find the light

Discovering yourself and your inner plight

I have been lost in an image, I didn’t accept

Shaken by prior decisions, made me feel inept 

Countless nightmares, but no sleep I slept 

I felt all perception, but lost all depth

Re-calibrated my energy by looking within

Exploring the mind until I pinned that pin 

Lost it for a while but I found my grin

Waking up happy and healthy, my win-win

Grateful for the energy to share with the world 

Positivity and blind faith in a messed up swirl 

Dance with me and send your life into a twirl 

Unrelenting love and wonder, can be unfurled 

The power of staying present and engaged 

Cooling a mind like a protester with sage

Tossing away all negative vibes and rage

Replaced with positive vibrations to the stage

You only have one shot, so make it worthwhile 

Living unhappy, that’ll never be my style 

Holding my head high because I’ve walked miles in my shoes 

Happiness, gratitude and compassion, that’s what I choose
