You are listening the the chronicles of the candyman
True story, my life... Now listen to the master plan
Seventh grade it started at Dodson Middle School
Sour belts in my backpack, man I was so cool
Everybody loved me, getting there sugar fix
The real money was when, cool aid was added to the mix
Things took a turn when I got to Narbonne High
Freshman year, making my name as the new guy
Bag full of sugar, soda, and sweets.
Profit 100 a week, but that was pretty weak.
Sophomore year approached, and I had to lay low.
New dean on the block, and he was looking yo
Slow and steady win the race, while building my empire
Recruitment was key, as expansion became dire
Third year came, and you can call it the come up
I started with two workers, but then I blew up
10 bags of candy riding the number two bus
Day by day life was good, Profits increased 100 plus
Running the empire didn't come without a close call
Wheeling and dealing with a teacher, so work didn't stall
"You can't sell in my class unless you slang these too...
"They are for my son's team, fundraising candy just like you"
Deliberating on the deal, I took a look at the inventory on the way
Searching the catalog I figured how I can make a pay day
Listen Miss M... Because I have a counter offer to make
Pick a prize for your son, I sell that much and this is what I'll take
I need extra credit on my tests or homework... You can decide
I'm going for a four point oh, so I need these points applied
A win win for both of us and a new nickname to change the game
Slanger was the name as the school started to feel the pain
Front page news on the school paper, "Profits down at the student store!"
Little did they know it was my business stealing money from the schools core
Protecting my assets became simple once I got my in
Senior year, ruling the campus, sugar was my sin
Cash flow was great, making 100 a day
Lakers games, letterman, and spent a lot on bae
Befriended the Dean for the inside scoop
Keeping my workers always in the loop
Candy is me and I am candy
Much love to my parents Fernando and Sandy.
Countless trips to the Costco
Always supported me working hard for my doe.
I hope you enjoyed the chronicles of the candyman.
Getting a job, Fuck that! This was my master plan!
